From her early teenage years, Amber Whelan had a strong passion to pursue design as a career and subsequently studied Interior Design at RMIT University, Melbourne. She then immediately commenced her career with Catt Architects, an architectural practice specialising in high end residential design.

After 5 years at the practice, under the tutelage of Gary Catt, Amber moved to Bates Smart, widely recognised as one of Australia's most talented and renowned architectural firms. The wealth of knowledge and expertise became a platform for her to move through the company, working on both long and short term projects, ranging from over 3 years on the luxurious 150 Clarendon Street apartment development in East Melbourne, through to The Capitol apartments in Chapel Street, South Yarra, Burswood Casino VIP Villas, Freshwater Place residential tower and Media House, Docklands.

Culminating in over 10 years of experience in the industry, Amber decided to move on to the next stage of her career and start her own interior design practice, bringing together her passion for achieving interiors that not only evoke an enriching response from its occupants, but interiors that will stand the test of time; to be enjoyed both today and tomorrow.
